MEZCAL is such a versatile spirit, it allows us to make completely unique creations of cocktails. The aromas that the botanicals add, along with its awesome smokiness and cooked agave flavours, really give a unique taste to each and every one of the cocktails.

It is a spirit with which mixologists can experience an explosión of one of a kind flavours. We have tried about 50 cocktails from bartenders and mixologists all over the world and have brought to you our Top 5 of these amazing Mezcal Gin cocktails:

1. Catrín Bohemio

    It is an excellent cocktail, created by one of the best mixologist from Mexico… Omar Dorantes. This cocktail is one of our summer edition cocktails, full of exotic flavours and freshness that will delight your palate. Its combination of bannana flavours, cinnamon and Mezcal Gin are completly delicious.
    • 2oz. of Mezcal Gin
    • 1oz. of Martini Bianco
    • ½ oz. of smashed bannanas
    • Cinnamon molasses
    • 1oz. lemon
    • Sprinkle cardamom

2.- Mezcaloni

    Chill the glass, add the ingredients on the glass, add the ice using the Stir technique, serve it with an orange slice and a dash of soda. Finally use some peppermint for the aroma.
    • 1 1/2 oz mezcal gin
    • 1 oz campari
    • 1/2 vermouth rosso
    • dash agua mineral
    • hierba buena
    • rodaja de naranja
    • twiss limon

    3.- Quetzal sour

    Add the white egg to the shaker, pour the ingredients and dry-shake them. Put some ice on the shaker and shake it again, then just add some angostura.
    • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 1 oz lime juice
    • 1 1/2 oz orange juice
    • 1 oz agave syrup
    • 1 egg
    • 5 drops of angostura

    4.- La Margarita de la abuela

    Shake all the ingredients with ice on, then frost the glass with the agave syrup and some salt.
    • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 2 oz lime juice
    • 1 oz cinammon infuision
    • 1 oz agave syrup
    • 1 oz controy triple sec

5.- Camelia

    The Camelia is a very good cocktail to drink during the summer. It has a great freshness because of the papaya and a very unique and well balanced combination of the Mezcal Gin and the Rosemary. It is a recepie anyone can do, by adapting the tonic water for a comercial one and the canned papaya for a papaya juice.
    • 2oz. of Mezcal Gin
    • 1oz. of Canned Papaya
    • 1/4 Rosemary Molasses
    • Handcrafted Dill Tonic Water
    • Lemmon

6.- Rosa

    Macerate the strawberry, add ingredients and shake. Double strain it.
    • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 1 strawberry
    • 1 oz orange juice
    • 1/2 grapefruit juice
    • 1 oz rose liquor
    • 1 oz lime juice

    7.- Santa Diabla

    Macerate the pepper and the cucumber slice, add the rest of the ingredients, shake it and double strain it.
    • 2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 1 oz white rum
    • 2 oz tomato juice
    • 2 oz orange juice
    • 1 oz lime juice
    • 1 drop of Tabasco Sauce
    • 5 drops of Worcestershire Sauce
    • 5 drops of Maggi Sauce
    • 5 gr of red pepper
    • 1 cucumber slice
    • 3/4 oz agave syrup

    8.- San Tomas Collins

    Sheke, add some ice with a twist of lime and cinnamon.
    • 2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 2 oz lemon juice
    • 2 oz cinnamon syrup
    • dash of club soda

    9.- Mal de amores

    Sheke it well, frost the glass with worm salt and use the hibiscuss flower and some rosemary.
    • 1 1/2 oz Mezcal Gin
    • 1 1/2 oz hibiscuss infusion
    • 1oz orange juice
    • 1/2 oz chocolate with chile
    • 1/2 oz de agave syrup
    • worm salt

    10.- Gineblet

    Put all ingredients except grapefruit zest into the shaker, shake well and double strain to martini glass. Garnished with grapefruit zest on the top.
